Each case opens at your local midnight, based on your device's timezone. Tokyo and Los Angeles both see "today's case" on their own calendar date — it's the same case for every detective, just on each player's local day.
Yes. A streak is consecutive solved days. You can still play the missed case from the cold-case archive, but it won't count toward the streak.
After solving (or closing the case unsolved), tap the share button on the reveal screen. The share grid shows your solve time, evidence examined, false leads, and rank — never the culprit, weapon, or motive.
No. Inquest has no analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs, no backend. The app works fully offline after installation. See our privacy policy for the full picture.
Game Center is optional. If you can't sign in, the app still works — your rating and streak are saved locally. If a leaderboard isn't updating, check that Game Center is enabled in Settings → Game Center on your device.
Yes — the cold-case archive holds every past case. Cold-case solves contribute to your rank with a small replay-discount, so the daily ritual still pays the biggest reward.
