Store Listing Alignment

Checked 2026-06-27. This page was compared with the public App Store and Google Play listings. Where a store privacy or data-safety label was visible, it said the developer does not collect user data.

Accurate app behavior: Collection entries, photos, ratings, purchase log, backups, exports, and widget data stay local. Camera/photo picker use is optional and selected media is not uploaded. The local trial and one-time unlock use store systems only for purchase, restore, refund, receipt, or price display. No accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, or developer backend are used.

Plain-language summary

Plush Bean Tracker collects nothing. Your collection, your photos, your ratings, and your purchase log live on your device. There are no servers, no accounts, no logins. The app does not talk to advertisers, analytics services, or any third-party data processor. Plush Bean Tracker has no subscription, no ads, no tracking, and no third-party data processing.

What’s stored on your device

Your collection list — every plush you add (name, category, status of Owned/Wanted/Trading, notes) is saved as a small local preferences blob in your app’s private storage.
Your photos — photos you attach to any plush are stored as files inside the app’s private App Group container. They are encoded as JPEG and named by a random identifier. Photos never leave your device.
Cuddle ratings — your 1–5 ratings per plush are stored locally.
Birth-certificate notes — the name and wish you write for each plush are stored locally as plain text.
Purchase log — for each plush, the dates, prices paid, source channels (Physical store / Online store / Mystery pack / Gift / Resale), and free-text notes you enter are stored locally.
Onboarding completion flag — a single boolean so the welcome screens don’t show on every launch.
Widget snapshot — a tiny local summary (total owned, total spent, mystery-pull count) is written to the shared App Group container so the home-screen widget can render without launching the app. This snapshot also stays on your device.

What’s NOT collected

No name. No email. No phone number. No location. No birthdate.
No advertising identifier. No analytics. No crash reporter.
No microphone, contacts, calendar, health, or fitness access.
No internet connection is made by the app for any feature. (Photo picker, Files import, and Share Sheet are system-provided interactions; data is only what the user explicitly selects.)
We do not collect, sell, share, or rent any data — because we do not have any data to collect, sell, share, or rent.

Camera and photo library

The app asks for camera and photo library access only when you tap “Add your own photo” on a plush. Your device shows the system permission prompt. If you allow access, any photo you pick is copied into the app’s private App Group container and tagged with a random identifier. The original photo in your photo library is not modified or deleted.

If you deny access or never tap “Add your own photo,” no camera or photo data is read.

Backup and Restore (Export to Files)

The app’s “Backup & restore” feature lets you export your entire collection — every plush, photo, and purchase record — to a single .plushbean JSON file. This file is generated locally and shown to you via the system share sheet (Files, AirDrop, Mail, Messages, etc.). The destination is entirely your choice. We never see the file. Re-importing it on the same or another device restores your collection in place.

Third-party services

There are none. Plush Bean Tracker does not embed any third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, attribution SDK, or telemetry SDK. The app’s store privacy declarations reflect no data collection and no tracking.

Children’s privacy

Plush Bean Tracker is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content, ads, tracking, chat, or consumable purchases. The optional one-time unlock is handled by the app store and does not involve child data. Because we collect no data whatsoever, we collect no data from children. The app is suitable for all ages.

Your rights

Because the app collects no data and stores all data on your device, exercising rights under GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, or any similar regulation is straightforward:

Right to access: you have full access — open the app.
Right to deletion: delete the app or use the in-app delete per plush. Deleting the app removes all stored data including photos from your device.
Right to portability: use the in-app “Backup & restore” to export everything as a portable JSON file.
Right to opt out of sale: not applicable — nothing is sold, shared, or transmitted.

Store purchases

Plush Bean Tracker includes a local 3-day full-access trial and then an optional one-time unlock. Starting the trial happens locally on your device and does not contact Apple or Google, create a subscription, or charge you. If you choose to buy or restore the unlock, Apple App Store or Google Play processes the purchase, receipt, refund, tax record, and localized price display. Plush Bean Tracker does not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, store account details, store receipt contents, or transaction history.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL and the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Material changes that affect data handling will also be communicated via the store release notes for the next app update.
