Washi Stash is free to download with 3 days of full access. Starting that 3-day access window happens locally on your device and does not create a subscription or charge. After the 3 days, a single optional one-time purchase unlocks the whole app permanently — there is no subscription and nothing auto-renews or auto-charges. That purchase or restore action is handled entirely by Apple’s App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) through their own in-app purchase systems. Washi Stash never sees or receives your name, payment card, or billing details. The developer receives only anonymous, aggregate sales figures from Apple and Google — never anything tied to you. Apple’s and Google’s handling of the transaction is governed by their own privacy policies.

Store Listing Alignment

Checked June 30, 2026. This page was compared with the public App Store and Google Play listings. Where a store privacy or data-safety label was visible, it said the developer does not collect user data.

Accurate app behavior: Tape collection entries, photos, projects, wishlists, purchase details you enter, backups, labels, and exports stay local. Camera/photo picker use is optional. The 3-day trial starts locally; Apple App Store or Google Play handles only the one-time Pro unlock, restore, refund, receipt, or price display. No accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, or developer backend are used.

Washi Stash is a local-first app for cataloging washi tape collections, wishlist items, storage locations, notes, prices, and user-selected photos.

Data We Collect

Washi Stash does not require an account and does not collect personal data on our servers. The app stores collection data locally on your device. This can include roll names, shops or artists, colors, tags, storage notes, purchase details you enter, and photos you choose.

Purchases

Washi Stash includes a 3-day full-access free trial, then a one-time Washi Stash Pro unlock. Purchases and restores are processed by Apple StoreKit on Apple platforms or Google Play Billing on Android. We do not receive your payment card details, Apple ID, Google account details, or store receipt contents.

Photos and Camera

If you choose to add a photo, the app uses your camera or photo picker only for the roll or swatch image you select. Photos remain on your device unless you export or share them yourself.

Analytics, Tracking, and Ads

Washi Stash does not include third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or cross-app tracking.

Exports and Imports

You can export your collection as JSON or CSV. Any exported file is controlled by you and may contain the collection details you entered.

Children

Washi Stash is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
