Purchases

Sweet Showdown is free to download with 3 days of full access. Starting that 3-day access window happens locally on your device and does not create a subscription or charge. After the 3 days, a single optional one-time purchase unlocks the whole app permanently — there is no subscription and nothing auto-renews or auto-charges. That purchase or restore action is handled entirely by Apple’s App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) through their own in-app purchase systems. Sweet Showdown never sees or receives your name, payment card, or billing details. The developer receives only anonymous, aggregate sales figures from Apple and Google — never anything tied to you. Apple’s and Google’s handling of the transaction is governed by their own privacy policies.

Plain-language summary

Sweet Showdown does not send gameplay or saved dishes to the developer. Your creations and progress are stored locally; data can leave the device through sharing you choose or operating-system backups you enable. We don't have servers, accounts, or user logins, and we don't talk to advertisers or analytics services. Sweet Showdown is free to download with a local 3-day full-access trial. After the trial, one optional one-time purchase unlocks continued access. There is no subscription, auto-renewal, recurring charge, consumable purchase, advertising, account, analytics, tracking, chat, or developer backend.

There is no subscription, auto-renewal, recurring charge, consumable purchase, advertising, account, analytics, tracking, chat, or developer backend. We do not receive your payment card, billing address, Apple ID, Google account details, or store receipt contents.

Network usage

Sweet Showdown has no developer server, no analytics endpoint, no advertising endpoint, no remote config, no peer-to-peer discovery, no Bonjour, and no MultipeerConnectivity. The local party/head-to-head mode is pass-the-device only: players alternate turns on the same device. Apple App Store or Google Play supplies localized prices and handles purchases, restoration, family sharing, refunds and purchase status. These store operations may use the network. Gameplay works offline.

Platform privacy declarations

Sweet Showdown's platform privacy declarations cover the following local-only system capabilities:

The store privacy declarations also state "Data Not Collected", which matches the absence of developer data collection. Store purchase records are handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies and are not child, gameplay, dish, or gallery data collected by Sweet Showdown.

Children and Family Sharing

Sweet Showdown is designed for younger children and families. We follow the privacy expectations for children and family apps:

Sharing a dish

If you tap the "Share" button on a finished-round sticker, poster, cookbook, or Gallery item, the operating system opens its standard share sheet so you can choose where it goes. The share sheet itself is provided by the operating system — Sweet Showdown does not see what destination you choose or whether you actually send it. Once you do send something, that destination's privacy policy applies.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change the policy, the "Last updated" date at the top will change, and the revised policy will be published on this page.
