Nine Steeps stores your tea records on your device. The developer does not operate an account service, advertising, analytics, tracking, or a server that collects your tea records.
The app can store tea profiles, brew sessions, tasting notes, cellar entries, settings and access status. Apple features can also store photos you select and share brewing state with your paired Apple Watch and widgets. Android cloud backup and device transfer of app data are disabled by the app’s backup rules. Apple device or iCloud backups may contain app data and photos according to your system settings; the developer does not operate or receive those backups.
The app includes 3 days of full access. Starting the trial does not create a subscription or charge. Afterward, an optional one-time purchase provides continued full access. Apple StoreKit or Google Play handles purchases, restores, prices and purchase-status checks, including checks during normal startup. The developer does not receive or store your full payment card details. On Android, a valid access code also gives all features for free with no time limit. The code grant is stored separately from purchase status and trial dates, and you can remove it in Settings.
When you share, export, save a ZIP backup or import a backup, the app uses the system sharing or document interface. You choose the file or destination. Backups can contain your tea records and, on Apple platforms, selected photos. The destination or backup provider handles its copies under its own privacy practices.
Android can request notification permission when you enable brew reminders. Apple features can use notifications, Live Activities, paired Apple Watch synchronization and the system photo picker for images you choose. The app does not request location, contacts, microphone, camera capture or advertising ID access.
Deleting the app removes its app container from that device. Copies may remain in Apple device or iCloud backups and wherever you exported or shared files. Apple Keychain stores trial dates that may survive deletion and reinstallation. Marketplace purchase history is maintained by Apple or Google. The developer does not receive your tea records through these backups or exports.
Nine Steeps is intended for tea drinkers and is not directed to children under 13.
