The app works without an account. To restore a prior one-time purchase, open Insect Discover, continue to the purchase screen, and choose Restore Purchases.
Insect Discover does not collect data. It has no account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer backend.
Photos are processed on your device. Photos, guesses, settings, and catch-log entries stay on your device unless you explicitly export or share them. Location is not stored. Apple App Store or Google Play processes purchases and restoration under the applicable store privacy policy.
Deleting the app removes its locally stored app data, subject to device backups managed by you, Apple, or Google.
Insect Discover is free to download with three days of full access. Starting that access window happens locally and does not create a subscription or charge. After three days, a single optional one-time purchase unlocks the full app. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews.
The purchase and restore actions are handled by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Insect Discover does not receive your name, payment card, or billing details.
