Purchases

Handrift is free to download with 3 days of full access. Starting that 3-day access window happens locally on your device and does not create a subscription or charge. After the 3 days, a single optional one-time purchase unlocks the whole app permanently — there is no subscription and nothing auto-renews or auto-charges. That purchase or restore action is handled entirely by Apple’s App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) through their own in-app purchase systems. Handrift never sees or receives your name, payment card, or billing details. The developer receives only anonymous, aggregate sales figures from Apple and Google — never anything tied to you. Apple’s and Google’s handling of the transaction is governed by their own privacy policies.

Data Collection

Handrift does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, third-party tracking, account creation, cloud sync, or a developer backend for your study data.

Your progress, lesson state, settings, and practice history are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app deletes the app's local data from that device, subject to your own device backup settings.

Document Images

If you choose to study one of your own document images, Handrift uses the image you select or capture for that feature. The app does not upload your document image to a developer server.

Camera and Photos

Camera or photo access is used only when you choose to provide a document image. You can use the built-in practice material without granting photo or camera access.

Purchases

Handrift offers a local 3-day trial and an optional one-time paid unlock. Purchases, restores, refunds, and payment details are handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play, depending on where you downloaded the app. Handrift does not receive your payment card or billing information.

Children

Handrift is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
