Privacy Policy for Deduction Isles

Deduction Isles does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, developer backend, or third-party tracking.

Information stored on your device

Game progress, preferences, board state, and the start of the three-day access window are stored locally on your device. On supported Apple devices, a small Today widget snapshot may be stored in an Apple App Group accessible only to Deduction Isles and its widget. The developer does not receive this information.

If Android Backup is enabled for your Google account, Android may include selected local progress, preferences, board state, and the access-window start date in your Google-account-protected device backup or device-to-device transfer. Purchase entitlement and widget caches are excluded. This backup is controlled by your operating system and Google account; the developer cannot access it.

Purchases

Deduction Isles is free to download. A three-day access window opens all 365 shipped cases. After that window closes, today’s case remains available and a single optional one-time purchase can unlock the complete archive. There is no subscription, automatic renewal, or automatic charge.

Purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Deduction Isles receives the on-device transaction and entitlement result needed to unlock the archive and acknowledge a completed purchase. No purchase token or transaction details are sent to a developer-operated server. The developer does not receive your name, payment card, or billing details.

Sharing

When you choose Share, Deduction Isles creates an image on your device and opens the system share sheet. Nothing is sent until you choose a destination, and the app does not receive a copy.

Children

Deduction Isles does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. It contains no ads or targeted advertising.

Your choices

Because Deduction Isles does not upload personal data to a developer server, there is no server-held personal data to access, correct, export, or delete. You can remove locally stored gameplay data by uninstalling the app. Store purchase records remain governed by the applicable app store.

Changes

If a future version changes these practices, this policy and the store privacy disclosures will be updated before that version is released.
